Canon 90D

The camera I use is actually the Canon 70D, which is discontinued and has been replaced by the Canon 90D. I have linked to the 90D.

Canon 50mm f/1.8 lens

The “Nifty 50” lens is essential! It is a fixed lens (not a zoom lens) and has a super wide aperture, great for low light or a super shallow depth of field.

Vanguard tripod

This tripod is my fave because it can go from shooting straight on to shooting overhead without removing the camera or switching it to a different tripod. The Vanguard is very affordable and their customer service is excellent as well.
